The lesbian banner ’s origin is relatively recent , emerging in response to the dominance of the rainbow flag within the broader LGBTQ+ scene. Initially, designers felt that the rainbow flag didn't adequately acknowledge lesbian experiences and identities. In 1999, Denise Lyon created a flag feat
